Arranging Pretty: Piecing Together Visual Narratives of Death (In-person)

Join Author, Illustrator and Bioethicist Lisa Boivin for a presentation about Indigenous perspectives of death interpreted in story and visual art. She will discuss her children’s books, I will see you again a story about suicide of a family member and We Dream Medicine Dreams which offer animal teachings to help cope with the loss of a loved one. Lisa will also share some of her images that were commissioned for an art installation entitled “A Very Different World”, curated by Ngahiraka Mason at Te Tuhi, gallery in Aotearoa (New Zealand).
