First Nations House Indigenous Student Services Presents: Paint Night with Teddy Syrette

Teddy Syrette (Ozhawa Anung/Yellow Star, They/Them) is a 2-Spirit Anishinabe person, from Baa-waa-ting/Batchewana First Nation. They grew up in Rankin Reserve.

O-zha-wa A-nung graduated from Sault College with a diploma in Social Service Work – Indigenous Specialization in 2012. Ozhawa Anung has two dogs, is an artist and never gets invited back to fancy meetings.

They are one of two recipients of the ‘International 2Spirit Warrior’ title winners of 2021-2022′ for their 2Spirit LGBTQ work regionally, nationally and now internationally.

This workshop will be hybrid; in-person and virtual via zoom. For those who would like to attend in person, there will be limited spots.

Please contact the Indigenous Student Life Coordinator to obtain your paint kit. If you are planning on attending virtually, please arrange to come pick up your kit at First Nations House Indigenous Student Services before the workshop.
